Composition:- Esomeprazole (EC) 40 mg + Levosulpiride (SR) 75 mg Capsules

Each hard gelatin capsule contains:

  • Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate I.P. equivalent to Esomeprazole — 40 mg (as enteric coated pellets)
  • Levosulpiride — 75 mg (as sustained release pellets)
  • Excipients: q.s.
  • Colour of pellets: Titanium Dioxide I.P.

Mechanism of Action

  • Esomeprazole (EC): Inhibits the H⁺/K⁺ ATPase enzyme system (proton pump) in gastric parietal cells, reducing acid secretion effectively.
  • Levosulpiride (SR): A selective dopamine D2 receptor antagonist that enhances gastric motility and accelerates gastric emptying.

  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)

  • Peptic ulcer disease
  • Bloating and nausea associated with delayed gastric emptying

Dosage & Administration

As directed by the Physician. Capsules should be swallowed whole — not to be opened, chewed, or crushed.
