Telmisartan along with Hydrochlorothiazide helps widen the blood vessels, improves blood circulation, supports healthy heart functioning, controls high blood pressure, and reduces cardiovascular disease possibilities. Telmisartan blocks the angiotensin receptors and diuretic hydrochlorothiazide increases the urine output.

Adverse effects

It may cause head spinning, tiredness, loose motions, nausea, infections in the upper respiratory tract and back pain.

Jeksar H usage direction

• Follow the doctor’s prescription instructions.
• Drink adequate water throughout the day to prevent dehydration and if symptoms like excessive thirst, exhaustion and mouth dryness appear consult the doctor without delay.
• If feel dizzy change positions slowly and calmly.
• Avoid high-fat, spicy and salty foods, eat a balanced diet, drink an adequate amount of water, and follow a healthy lifestyle.
• Be active throughout the day and engage in desired physical activity.
• Keep stress at a low level and practice mind-calming activities like yoga, meditation, book reading and music listening.
• Get daily required optimum amount of rest and sleep.

Contradiction guidelines

Consult the doctor if one is trying to conceive, pregnancy, lactation, and dialysis patients.

Guidance if medication missed

Restrict double dosing, take as soon as it is remembered but if the next dose is nearing skip the previous one and consume the next scheduled dose.

Drug interactions

Inform the doctor in advance in case of drug allergy and diabetes or on another blood pressure-lowering medication.

Toxicity :

High intake may cause hypotension, dizziness, draining off feeling, vomiting and spiked or low heartbeat, if symptoms develop consult the doctor immediately.
